Software as a service (or SaaS) is a way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a service. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you simply access it via the Internet, freeing yourself from complex software and hardware management.

1. Sitemap

I have built the sitemap of the platform in order to map out the structure and organization of pages, and content in the platform. It allows me to know what content will be included, what templates need to be designed, and where the gaps are.

2. Low-fidelity wireframes

Low fidelity wireframes are just a quick sketch that can make ideas more tangible. Lоw fidelity wireframes are usually black and white schemes or simple sketches on paper focused on the “big picture” of the page/project. They show UI elements as boxes and lines without detailed annotations.

3. Hi-Fi wireframe

Wireframes with hi-fi elements, but no interactivity, are often called mockups. A mockup becomes a high-fidelity prototype once interactions, transitions, or animations are added. With clickable menus and buttons, hi-fi prototypes provide a visceral sense of the user experience.

4. Prototyping

User interface (UI) prototyping is an iterative analysis technique in which users are actively involved in the mocking-up of the UI for a system. UI prototypes have several purposes: As an analysis artifact that enables you to explore the problem space with your stakeholders.

5. Design system

Summary: A design system is a set of standards to manage design at scale by reducing redundancy while creating a shared language and visual consistency across different pages and channels.
